that one time. when i was sitting at my destination. in the sleeper. waiting to get in. and my truck moved a little. and i crawled out of the sleeper. to see a citation in the left side mirror. and the cop speeding off in his motorcycle.
there are signs that say no truck parking unless loading/unloading. i took a pic of the sign. sent it with the citation to the city. with a statement. the responeded back with a basic WE DON'T CARE. i responeded back with a I ALSO DON'T REALLY CARE.
never paid it. the company may have. but i never did and never heard a word about it.
so much for that ask a cop statement.. dude never knocked on my door or bothered looking in the parking lot for the driver.

Just South of the 91 off the East side of Central ave. there is an industrial park where I & some others park on a regular basis. Then in the morning, walk on over to the Columbia Restaurant and get your coffee and breakfast!!

Try using www.findfuelstops.com sometimes you can find places on it along your route. Some have parking and some don't. If you pull up a name it will give you general info and also the map with the place on it.

Use google maps streetview to 'drive' to the shipper and look around for a place. -
No parking at Gen Mills, Carson. Not even on the street, you will get a ticket
Nearest place is Ontario.
