where can you go to verify miles driven

    I want to verify my past driving miles but some of my previous companies no longer exist. where can one go to obtain this information.

    Far as I know the closest estimate you can get is take your tax return, and divide your total pay by what you was paid per mile... To get a closer estimate you would need to deduct items like stop pay, detention pay ext.. before you do the division...

    I ALWAYS keep my pay stubs. Forever.

    I have paystubs going back 12 years (didn't do it before then - had a problem, which is why I do it now)

    If they are pre-DAC. Just forget about it. Most companies will not use pre-DAC info. Been there done that...own at least 2 of the t-shirts.

    I have 4 companies that will verify 10 years experience. But, can't/won't verify the miles...no records. Imagine that.

    I have my old logs and tax records...from as far back as 1985. That's no help either.
