Where do I go to get current truckers pay statistics? Average CPM?

    ####, after reading this thread I realize I was getting screwed with my starter company hahaha In 2008 I was making .29cpm

    In 2008 we were in the depth of a major recession. Freight was slow and it was a hirer's market.

    Average driver pay is better now than it was thirteen years ago, especially for rookies. Twenty-nine cents at the entry level was a little low for then, but nowhere near as low as it would be now. Fifty cents in 2021 is about the same as about thirty-five cents was in 2008.

    Just from a straight inflation rate point-of-view, thirty-nine cents in 2008 had the same buying power as fifty cents does today. Your twenty-nine cent rate in 2008 was worth the same as thirty-seven cents today.
