I personally was contacted via indeed for my position. Myself I ignore anything on Craigslist for driving jobs, I was burned twice there and street clear. I do know several members here on the forums equate Craigslist jobs as being bottom of the barrel of jobs. You could always try contacting local job and family services offices around where the terminals are, and ask for a line on possible seekers. Ohio has a great resource for job seekers as well, www.ohiomeansjobs.com

@RidingThe414 @Chinatown is the forum guru on driving jobs. He's got a massive list of companies, their hiring requirements and want not, he actually turned me towards transport, then the very next day I was contacted via indeed.

This is so true. It definitely starts at the root of the company. I have worked for some companies that ya'll would have all the colorful language in the world for, and not just as a recruiter. There are some truly horrific places to work out there, and yeah...they're the ones I see advertising on literally every freaking posting site there is online. And quality is what we want, no doubt about it. We're really selective and for good reason. Hauling OD & heavy haul takes a lot more knowledge, confidence, and experience as I'm sure most of you know. I'd rather turn down 10 "good" drivers to hold out for that 1 "GREAT" driver.

That's got to be serendipity then! Things worked out the way they were supposed to. I'll touch base with him, thank you!!

    Easy there.

He’s partially right at least. Names don’t always come up.

I look here and comments on various pages, also can't beat talking to actual drivers in person about their company
