Where does everyone buy their Turbos?

I replaced rod & main bearings ony bc I had a low oil pressure issue that we finally tracked down to a loose wire in the dash.
2016 was a big year for replacing parts, batteries, starter, Davco fuel filter assy., all 6 injectors, trans. and clutch assy., carrier bearing and probably some other items I forgot.

It's been a very good truck in the 10 years that I've had it, never been on a hook.

 

What transmission? I have the 13 speed. The shifter feels sloppy . Anything to keep an eye on. . ? At what milage did you have the tranny replaced and what went wrong with it?

 

13 spd, replace in '16 was really sloppy and falling out of gear when coasting.

 

Also had the ECM reprogrammed from 500/1650 to 565/1850. and that really woke up the engine without a decrease in fuel mileage.

 

They make a bushing kit for sloppy shifters.

 

Yes, you might just need the tower replaced, but mine had over 1.4mm so I just replaced the whole trans. & clutch assy.

Maybe change the fluid too. As long as it isnt whining real bad its prob still good
