Home for another couple hours.... Enjoying the 70's here in Cali.

 

just left the flying j in Joplin, headed down 71 .

 

Got a lot accomplished today on the truck. Rewired some lights, cleaned the headache rack and reorganized the boxes. Not a bad day here in SLC

 

Sitting here in New Town, Nd. Got our man camp all lded up.
Lded. in a man camp trailer park area.
Dropped the trl. and went to the casino for supper. Their buffett is not all that good for the price they charge.
Funny thing at the buffett. I was paying our bill and the cashier was a cute little young lady. I ask her where are you from?
Thailand she says proudly. So I tell her hello in Thai and ask her how is she doing. Her eyes light up and a big smile on her face. She answers in Thai and then asks how I know Thai. I then point to my wife.
Well it seems there are 12 Thais working there in a college food service program.
They were happy to see another Thai person and we talked with a few others of the group there this evening.
I feel sorry for them being stuck in Nd. as their first US experince..

I don't mind coming up here and leaving quickly.
I know everybody has different styles

 

When you sick in a truck it's amazing how much better you feel when you fling your door open and puke all over the empty spot next to you.
