With a combination of the way the inlet lays and being on the north side of the storm the water came up about five feet. There’s boat ramps on the left of the pic underwater.

    yes

Zoe and I are doing fine....although Zoe would debate that as she is soaked from having to go out into the rain. She hates the rain....

down here in Brownsville where I am - just rain and wind

Currently under a tornado watch now

Very true. I've tried my hand at a couple new things in the last year and I've been quite successful with them. Drawing being one of my favourites so far.

The misses and I had a rather spirited discussion about baked mac and cheese last night.

I suggested adding a little diced ham to it, which was met with a response that would leave one thinking I committed some sort of horrible blasphemy.

Bacon’s good, but you ADD meat, not remove it. ;)

    Funny you mention neglecting legwork.

When I was a kid I put a LOT of miles on my little BMX bike. That was my transportation. That led to me developing fairly strong legs.

When high school rolled around, the legwork got more attention because that’s where I could keep up with the jocks.

See ham should have never been added in the 1st place. So then only bacon was added.
