I never kept track of that recap stuff on paper. With loose leaf, I didn't need to. Been on a time sheet since 2010, plus my truck is exempt from elog... hence, I never really tried to learn how that whole recap deal worked. Why complicate things?

Now, since I read these posts, I'm finally picking up on it because I've seen guys like @D.Tibbitt explain it a dozen times, two dozen different ways. Lol

 

Just stuck some asparagus stuffed chicken on the grill. Thats how you do baller on a budget lol.

As for Johns recap hrs, if he's doing a 10, he'll get his 11/14 clock back for tomorrow, right? ###### now I can't remember after being on an eld for so long, plus running mostly on Tx HOS the last almost 2yrs.

 

Fried rice and 16-20 bacon wrapped shrimp...

 

Ok..get off my wave length. I grill 2 leg quarters and asparagus tonight too. just not stuffed.

 

Its a dang shame the government makes everything so confusing. I bet the same dingos that make the log hours couldnt even calculate recap or know how to manage there time on elogs if they were put to the test

 

He needs his 70 hr clock back which the only way to do that is to do a 34 hr reset or "recapture" his hours from 8 days ago at midnight

Yup, same type of grapevine around here too. As said, good news tends to travel slow, bad news like a brush fire on a hot windy day...

 

Looks like my dm was wrong again, but at least I’m competent now; I just got done editing my logs for the past couple days via the advice of the trainer I’m picking up my trailer from, gained back a total of 16 hours total on my 70 lol
