    Not trying to tell @Superhauler what kind of sleeper he has, but Monster, or the one in his avatar looks like a aerocab mid roof to me with windows in the top. Unless he is hiding a 2nd I'm not aware of.? :cool:

    The grey aerocab flat top you posted has a standing room of about 72"-74". That what I'm finding on interwebs anyway. Specifically at new ag talk..

    @AModelCat

    Im hard on my quad for only 140 LBS lol. Had it for a year now. Bent 4 rims, 2 being heavy .190 thick beadlocks, swing arm linkage, and right front A-arms lol. You would think being devloped by pro mx racer Doug Gust along with Yoshimura it would be able to take a bit more abuse.

    Gives me an excuse to go aftermarket. Rich man's game. Front a arms and suspension bout 2500 for long travel. Rear shock bout 800. But i think ima send the stock susp out to get rebuilt and re-sprung/re valves for my weight for 700 all together. And a gusset kit for frame

    My mid roof is international is just short of 11’ to the top of the sleeper. Another 6” to the top of the beacon and the stack.

    Nothing fancy. Just a Curtis sparks exhaust and a efi fuel controller. Steering stabilizer too. Saved my ### plenty of times from the bars getting ripped out of my hands. Have a hotcam intake cam and 14 to 1 piston waiting to go in

    When I built my garage, I intentionally built it with a 10x12 overhead door to keep myself from ever getting the stupid idea to buy a truck. Cost to do another 2 feet really didn't amount to much since I poured stem walls and just used 10' studs, I could have easily added 2 feet of concrete for a few hundred bucks more. Of course when I decided to go truck shopping, it ruled out a lot of cheap Freightliner condos and Prostars. And since I like to put my pants on standing up, it narrowed my choices to either a unibilt or a KW mid roof/aero whatever they're called lol. My CB antenna still drags across the door and I have to be careful the tip doesn't get caught on the hinges.

    I'd like 13' stacks, but I'd have to pull them constantly to bring it in, not to mention it's nice not having to use smoke tarps.

    If that's the consensus, I may as well plan on lots of hunting vacation this fall? Maybe take the rest of the summer off to daytrade? Either way, I decided I'm not driving into a highly populated hurricane for $4-something a mile. I just washed the truck after all.

    The best way, if you're trying to save $$$ would be 14' sidewalls, scissor trusses, and a sliding door. You'll have room for a good header, and still clear 13'6" easily, plus the scissor trusses open it up to where you can still hang ceiling fans and lights without worrying about being too low.

    In all honesty, the only big vehicle I have is the KW and its a toy. Don't plan on using it during winter. As long as I have enough overhead space to put a 3/4 ton truck on a hoist I'm good. Hail is a risk around here so I'm even thinking just building an open frame, pole barn type structure first. Just use that for storing the truck under. If I need to pull it indoors for something major (hopefully never) it wouldn't be horrible to pull the stacks off.
