    it is the older version

that is a fantastic truck actually.
It is not a truck to run general freight with however, as a 3 axle bobtail it weighs 27500.

I would take it back in a heartbeat

    less than 300k on it

still should have my old generator on it and a roof top ac

the pin on 4th axle removes with 12 bolts

Jesus. That's what the fld and my hopper weighed.

All thats still there. I thought the motor troubles were in that truck. Mightve missed that you got a new one.

All the talk of dds the other day had me pondering star cars and 122sds and Coronados.

Gees.....you see what 122s are going for? Nah....hard pass. Same with Coronados.....gees

Edit: that is why I've been looking at the odd trucks. Was looking at t880 too.

They all are running about the same really. Similar spec trucks are bringing similar prices regardless who's name is on the grille

I get it. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda snobbish about such things.

I'd like a pete or a kw with a paccar. It's what I know and driven the most. The old freightliner don't bring pete money is still somewhat true. It's just everything is going up.

I can survive a couple months without a replacement so I may just wait until the next just perfect thing comes along.

Going to do some more checking into the dd15/16 and see how they are on fuel and all that jazz. About the only engine I've heard bad things about is the isx and I was already not interested in one of those.

On a semi unrelated note the guy that did dad's alignment swore the truck was wrecked so we called around and checked for work orders on the truck at various dealer networks. Apparently it had rods and mains put in it as well as a new cam and rockers. Which requires the engine to be pulled because it comes out the back.
