At 20K that sounds like a hell of a lathe.

    Haha yea
Thanks man. I take pride in my fabrication and welding. I like to do things only once. Having this type of repair performed on the road can get pricey for sure and it might not be the quality of work we are looking for either.

Haha no melted air lines for me. I'm glad I have a regular interval set up each week to inspect the 5th wheel and grease it or I may have not seen this in time before a really bad situation had occurred.

APU died on me Sunday. 2 nights of idling makes me realize how much I hate a shaking truck. Stopped and grabbed a fuel filter today. Dumped out the old one after taking it off. Pre screen was also plugged up. 4 hours of disassembly and 1 diesel shower I finally found the fuel pump and it's dead.

Looked in the tank and it looks clean but I also ran it way down this morning and filled it twice today so might have just flushed out enough of the gunk. Probably going to do the motor filters when I get home just to be safe.

It’s from a local shop just a few blocks from my house. Might be a new repeat customer, I delivered a load of scrap ingots for them a few weeks ago. Had a meeting with them yesterday morning about moving 2 loads of equipment, then the conversion came up of moving this lathe, they want it out of the way it seems…..

Glad to realize that is fuel. Was gonna say you definitely need more water, or a hospital soon. Lol

A good hobbyist lathe for sure. Grab a couple buddies and you can probably slide it right into the garage.
