Where is everyone #5

I was treated to a great night out in Columbus with a comedy show with a friend last night. Saturday night I'm in shop with a jeep compass for a oil change, Ford ranger for a fuel pump. At least 2 mowers with repairs, before my stuff to work on. I'm not complaining. But to have a full time maid for cleaning house, laundry. Actually sounds like I could save money. But I'm to cheap to pay anyone for help. I'll be a man, and do everything half assed

FYI, sometimes my comments are self humor and not a great recommendation in life. And a six almost seven year old makes things sticky I've never imagined.

When was the last time you cleaned strawb jelly off your living room window? Or even had to clean all the door knobs in your house.


Oil on the shop floor is minor issue at this point of life.

 

I'm biased as we have Brakesavers on two trucks, and I have a third that if I lose one more screw in my tiny brain I may put it behind our 6NZ. I need to see if the oil pan from a 4MG will fit a 6NZ. We don't have problems with them leaking oil nearly as bad as between the injection pump and the block, or the throttle shaft.

I would think part of the charm or pleasure of restoring an older truck would be keeping it period correct where you can. Then again, it looks like you are building it for another purpose.........if I remember correctly you are going to or have made it a single screw?

 

Yep its already shortened up and singled out. I thought about doing a proper restoration but I think I just want it functional as a grocery getter now.

Yeah. If I didn't live here, I'd probably rip it out of the map with the rest of the NE.

 

We should have a party this summer. Plenty of guys in this area.
