When our child or grandchild is in a medical situation that we have absolutely no control over, we tend to feel helpless no matter how big or strong we are physically. Glad to hear the 30 and still ok, that’s the news we like to hear.
My ex wife was / is a LPN / RN, and thankfully seen our daughter on a daily basis. When our daughter was pregnant her organs started shutting down and thankfully her mothered realized over a short time the symptoms of the problem from her looks. They took the baby 9 weeks early in hopes of saving both which they did, but I felt so helpless standing there looking at both and not being able to do anything…..
