    Pulled into this truckstop in Lamar for fuel. IMG_20190427_144821.jpg

    I passed by the Love's and the new Pilot a mile south of here. Four trucks falling all over each other to get in there holding up traffic in the intersection. All of them obviously owner operator trucks.

    This place is almost empty. I can't figure it out. Price is close to the same. I get that big fleets dictate to the driver where to fuel. I think if free shower credits and loyalty points are that big of an impact maybe someone isn't charging enough for the trucking to begin with.

    Am I the only one that fuels based on convenience and not wasting time in a crowd?

    Yessir. Figured I had time. Going to stop in Colorado and check on my aunt. Steering box has to come out of Atlanta so I won't have it til Thursday or Friday anyway.
