Radial runout gauge available at Jegs.com

You can try rotating them on the rim. Or as @shooter mentioned find a tire shop that can true them up. Not many performing this that I know of. I have seen a lot of rubber coming off of a china tire to true it.

If your running uni mounts chances are your rim is not centered on the hub. This just increases the radial runout.

They used to do that around here years ago, but I'm not sure anyone does anymore. One thing for sure, you would want to run them a bit to make sure they are seated to the rim good before doing that I would think.

Your describing my issue to the letter. I hate to but guess I will step up to some better drives. I just wish their was a way to see how round they are before putting them on. Drives might look funny on a wagon but I can always put what I'm running back there

If there's any Grand Moose around here it's me. Don't be trying to muscle in on my turf. Snort. :biggrin_25512:

The tire shop jacked both axles up and I got in and ran the truck about 30 mph. It was easy to see the ones that were out then, but it didn't look like the safest way to do it.

Can't you jack them up and rotate them with a dial indicator kind of setup ( piece of chalk in a vise to hold it steady kind of deal ) and the chalk will mark the high spot (s) ?

Hey. Don't be bringing medicinal herbal remedies into this tire conversation.

    Unless you want to.
