Difference is he has access to a gym, eating healthy and not sitting all day long. Congress does have a private gym @ the Capitol.

As a truck driver we don't get that luxury. Most of our food choices is fast food or other crap from the TS. How many truck drivers start off in shape & gain weight? Not all of us have a fridge or inverter.

Before you say anything about my weight I'm 5'7 and weigh 123 lbs & wear a size 2.

I live in southeast Arkansas. Around here about the only winterizing for me was making sure my 4x4 pickup was ready to roll and stock up on groceries. I got my wood stove going inside and we’re doing fine. Most of the local towns are shut down except for gas stations and of course O’Reilly’s. There’s a couple snow plows around but the guys have no idea how to run them.

In the north those guys run 50 mph plowing snow all day long. Here they go about 20mph and still end up in the ditch.

I think I’ll go back to work Monday. My truck looks pretty forlorn sitting in a snow bank for nearly a week now.

Here in SW Arkansas it's much of the same. I saw some of the strangest looking plow setups today. As far as being plowed all of the main roads were clear and dry when I went out this afternoon. Saw people getting stuck in the unplowed grocery store lots. But the places I went to, like O'Reilly's, were plowed and dry. And I haven't seen lines at gas stations like this since the 70's.
My only winterizing was a run to the liquor store.
