I do not know of any quick fixes to limp it home. The fault is active, even if you disconnect the batteries the fault will still be there when you reconnect the batteries up and will still be active.
Where is the aftertreatmnt intake NOx sensor on Cummins ISX?

If he has the TA reset all faults, should that get him home?
-
Nope, if you a shop with Insite to reset the fault he can come home. It'll come right back, but it'll give him a few more hours before it derates again. I wish you would have mentioned that you were still using the truck, I could have told you it'll derate. At this point, since your paying for road service, you might as well just have them fix it. It only take 15 min to change that sensor. Unless it's a wiring issue, we still don't know if you checked for good power/ground at the sensor.

I knew about the torque derate just wasn't sure how soon before the significant derate. I gave the shop the part numbers, too just in case.
-
Since I knew the part number and the code I sent him up to a KW dealer who we called ahead. The dealer had the bay ready and the part ready. Took a few minutes to replace and cleared the codes. All good after that.
Atta Thanks this. -
