That could be as simple as dsv sucking.

If it's a good company that has it together if they got more drivers their customers could award them more work to service.

Got to look at all angles.

So you're saying there's too many trucks and some of us need to be bankrupted out.

    I get that.

I get what you’re saying but there are good companies but not all drivers are good (or agents) and that will cause an issue

I personally know a few guys at LS who make bank and others can’t make it work and quit
    Why?

I believe there are those who CAN and those who CANNOT in every business which causes this wave of why some succeed while others just spin their wheels

You could give me a $500k job sitting at a desk and guess what? I couldn’t make it work but the next guy could and for way less

What we were doing had nothing to do with dsv other then thats whose authority we were working under.... Work is based on an agent basis... If ur getting loads off a company loadboard , good luck to you .. This business is all about relationships..

Realistically that should be the average for all miles but what brings that down is all the guys grabbing that $1 PM because they feel that’s what is needed to make a living

Another problem with rates is this

If you run for $2 per mile and I run for $4
Guess what would happen if you get in on what I run?
You will do it for $3 and get a raise while I’ll have to drop to your $3 and take a pay cut
