The "good ones" started closing their doors right after Deregulation. Basically those who survived, with the exception of the union carriers, became "Sweatshops on Wheels". And as a few posted, the attitude of the companies is, "if you don't like it, leave"! When you enter a profession whose wages have been stagnant for over 35 years, that should tell you something about this industry.
