I noted he sells challenelguard filters if done right they work well I have used them in a number of radios. I do not agrree with his comments about old/new radio the filters made today are as good or better than what was made 30 years ago. Many 23 CH RADIOS had no filters at all ...

Bought my 447 from Doug at custom cb. Great customer service answered all my questions. Sparkys i talked to a guy was not sparky himself, but the guy I talked to didn't known 1 thing about radios and try to over price me to death. Doug @ custom CB's all the way !

Hey slow i just got my 447 today from copper..i do have a question does any 1 no what band the cb band is on?? i think its "d" but not for sure .i dont have a freek counter..and as far as i can tell i think the reason you dont see meney drivers with the strykers is that no 1 had any in stock i had to wait 4 months for mine..the main reason i went with the stryker was i liked the way it looked..sonds kind of funny but thats the truth its difrent then any thing else out there.. i realy liked the Galaxy DX94HP the dx 979 i have had for 4 years still looks and works great just wanted somthing new and difrent then most outher drivers.

Misfit, you've already posted this SAME question in a new thread a couple of hours ago, as well as this one that's a year old. And I answered you there that it's usually "D", but that without checking with your vendor, you won't know. Call Copper, ask if they converted it, but if you don't hear any CB traffic where you think you should be, I'd send it back to be checked, make sure it didn't fall through their cracks. If they did a conversion and, for some reason, assigned a different switch position, nobody else will know. That's why I suggest calling the people who sold it to you, make sure they did the conversion.
