My Fontaine Infinity needs a new side box. Driver ripped the box open,.. pics he sent show its absolutely not repairable.

Checked online and the prices I am seeing are absolutely disgusting. I could probably have my welder make me one from scratch for less.

Where have you guys bought side boxes from? I dont need anything fancy,.. just functional.

    Thanks,

    Hurst

I bought a used aluminum box from vander haag . They have several loacaloca based out of Kansas City.
22-26-36. About that size. Two step side box with brackets.. under $200. Cash and Carry.

Nothing is cheap anymore ... just cheap made. Tractor supply company carries a decent selection. Most of the farm and home supply stores have boxes on hand and can order whatever you want. And they're usually less expensive than the truck supply shops.

Tractor supply is over priced chinese junk. I went in there a year ago looking at some binders and clamps. No thank you.

Truck Pro yeah,.. too rich for my blood.

I didnt think about Fleet Pride,.. most of them are pretty decent when ever I needed something. I'll call my guy and see what he has.

Well ,you're the one who said you didn't need anything fancy. It's nearly impossible to find anything these days the isn't from China.

For the prices Tractor supply has,.. I can buy name brand/custom made at other places. Not Chinese junk.

There is not fancy,.. and not junk. I prefer not junk. I'm cheap,.. but I'll pay more to have a well made American product.

Besides,.. nothing wrong with being frugal. I'll shop around, post up on different forums and eventually find what I need. I havent stayed in business this long by throwing my money away.
