Where to buy retired reefer units, for storage?

When I first started "trucking" with/for a guy OTR in a 26' Penske household rental with no lift gate delivering high end furniture to every corner of the continental 48 (looooong story for another time), once we had a strange delivery. Wish to hell i could remember where we were. All I remember is the driveway had to be about a mile and a half long and the houses and buildings were in the thick of the woods way in the back. We unloaded all types of objects and contraptions that SCREAMED grow-op . . . very interesting experience
