If you get a PO Box at a post office, sometimes the clerk will try to give you a hard time "because you don't have the right types of ID." They will try to tell you that you need a deed, mortgage, lease as if you carry those in your back pocket with you at all times, if you even have them at all. I don't have a lease, deed etc. because I live out of my truck.

Whenever I rent a PO Box I just show 2 of the primary forms of ID they ask for, my license and employee ID card. Their website says this is sufficient if you scroll down at the end of the Acceptable
Secondary Forms Of Identification section.

It says: " You may also show an additional acceptable primary form of identification as your acceptable secondary form of Identification. "

It only requires a physical address to start a POBox. I have my payment charged to a crefit card and set to auto-renew unless I chose to cancel.
