Where to get CDL training? Pennsylvania?

Theres a requirement, you have to complete certain amount of hours at a certified CDL school before you go do the driving test. You can still get the permit though without the school

 

Where did you hear this? Do you have a link?

 

PA has a reference to that in the manual, but if you continue reading all the material they later say 'school' is not required.

I passed on him as he has a day cab and I'm guessing a 33' trailer but he sounds like he is willing to work with people to help them in any way he can. I'm in PA too and he told me we would drive his truck to York so I could take the test in PA. Might be worth a shot. I'm not in PA- but I know this isn't true. I just wanted to give the person that posted the misinformation a chance to provide a link. I have a CDL- for longer than I'd care to admit at this point. Lol.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's not that way in PA. There's so many inconsistencies between states in this "federal" CDL stuff Lol

 

It depends on where you are in pa, Harrisburg, philly and Pittsburg all have multiple schools, where I am up in Williamsport there's one, down twards Milton there's a few and one of them is linked into watsontown trucking, there's schools in burwick.... Here's a better idea.... GOOGLE!

 

Yea you would think that things would be more consistent.
