Where to get DOT medical without a mask?

I'll wear it in stores when required, other than that, I will not wear it.

 

Almost a the planes landed on 9/11 too!!

The reason you wear a mask is to prevent others from getting sick.

The poor doctors are already putting their lives and the lives of their family at risk by doing DOT medicals during a pandemic.

That 48-hour pre-symptomatic but contagious period is the problem.

We don't let people walk around without pants....we can deal with masks for a bit longer too.

 

Humans are nothing more than animals. I don't know where we get it in our heads that we're special. Every single species on this planet gets sick or contracts diseases. You don't see animals in the wild wearing masks or any of that stuff.

 

Your job has some different requirements than most drivers. The OP presents what looks to me like an unemployable situation

 

Your right, animals in the wild don’t wear a mask. When an animal get sickened, the others know it and shun it. Distancing them from the rest, usually by force.

That's a good point but it doesn't really apply in this case.
I just got back from a doctor's appointment. Everybody in his office is still wearing masks. Everybody at the hospital is too.
I don't like wearing a mask and I'll be glad when all this crap is over but as long as the medical professionals wear theirs I'll keep wearing mine.

 

No no no ... hippa applies to medical providers and insurance companies on health care related issues, i.e. health insurance covering medical procedures.

it does NOT cover employers ... period.

 

This is true, and furthermore, it only applies to medical providers that bill insurance. If the office is one that doesn't directly bill insurance, they are not subject to HIPAA.

 

Im not sick. So how does me wearing a mask as a healthy person keep others from getting sick?

Most people dont understand that all this bs isn't about safety, its about control. Think about that for a min.
