Hook up with an owner op and offer to team for a month or so. This would definitely be in there favor.

I'd be more than happy to do that, if I could get any of these companies to call me back. I went from barely being able to hit a gear to only missing one here and there on a downshift in the three and a half hours I spent on this road test, so a couple more and I'd be golden. At that point, I think it was as much being a nervous wreck from being tested and not being able to see the passenger side due to a broken mirror mount as it was my skill level.

Priced them out to about $500 to have a day cab and 48' trailer for one day morning to evening. That does not include fuel. Not so sure I can afford to do that, although it may come to where I don't have a choice.

This has actually been a thought of mine for the past few days. Would get me the refresher I need and have me exposed to that stuff I didn't get running local, but is a daily thing for OTR. I may try and do this when I get laid off for a month at the end of July.
