Hi everyone. My recruiter told me they going to help me to find a place where I can leave my truck but now they hired me and told me that is my responsibility to find a truck stop or something. I live in Buffalo, NY and the rest area I found seems not a good place, on the their website it says you can't leave your vehicle in there otherwise it'll be towed away. There also TA and Flying J around 30 miles away, but the bus is not available in that area, only Uber for $50+. Also found Jim's Truck Plaza, I think it's like $20 a day. Do you know any other places? How about Walmart or Home Depot parking lots? I see trucks park in there, should I call store managers and ask about it? Thanks.
Where to leave truck for weekends?

That recruiter lied. If you don't pay somewhere, expect it to be towed.

If you mgr at store with big lot, ask them or someplace near your house that knows you. Otherwise go to Jims and start looking for secured parking that you can leave car and swap truck.

Hop on your local Craigslist, click on “Housing” and then “Housing and Storage”. Boat and camper places might let you stash a truck out of the way or in a corner for hometime. Just might take some calling around. Best of luck!

There is app Truck Parking Club. Looks like all places are about the same price. $20 a day $100 a week or $200 for a month

Other spots to check are towing company yards. rv parking companies, self-storage business. A truck stop is a bad place to leave a truck for days, especialy in a higher crime area. I never found parking the truck at home to be anywhere near as convenient as leaving it at the company yard. BTW, never take the word of a recruiter as true. His job is to put meat in the seat, not give accurate info.lual, Flat Earth Trucker and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this.
