Knapp St is pretty well taken by the locals. Gateway or surrounding streets might be ok, as long as they don't tow or ticket (I used to deliver to that Best Buy, several times a week).
Where to park for home time in NYC?

LOL, i was born, raised and lived on Knapp st. for 21 years. My father still lives there -
Cool, the first time I bought my truck home I parked it on Avenue V. I got a ticket the next morning. Now, I see trucks here every once in a while and nothing. Definitely check out the terminal market, there are lots of trucks there. I always left it at the yard where I worked so I did not worry about parking. Starting out I parked at a lot and when I worked for a lumber yard in Green-point.

I park regularly in Maspeth, on Rust Ave.. When I wanna jump on the train, I park farther down Grand ave, closer to Metropolitan.. There's a little triangle I always get a spot on, and have stayed a few days, the triangle of grand, Stewart, and metropolitan, it points at the metropolitan st bridge.. Never been hassled at any of the spots.
