Any ideas on where to legally park in Hayward/San Leandro area?

Nearest Flying J is Lodi.... nearly 60 miles.....

Would settle for an industrial or business park with wide streets and legal on street truck parking.

If you get there early enough, there is a rest area on i80 and some dirt pull outs off 205/580.

If you're very lucky, you might find a spot next to UPS on teagarden street. One side of the street is posted no truck parking, but last I was there the UPS side was not posted.

Check out your receiver or shipper on google maps, then scan the area. When I didn’t drive at night (rare) I would just go to the shipper/receiver address then find a dead end street, gravel spot near tracks, an approach to a dock (out of the way), heck even home depot, lowes, Chinese restaurants don’t normally open till 10:00 AM or later. Also pulled into Gordon yards occasionally and had a nap! ;)

ETA: if your on elogs this might not be to helpful

It's best to have the time to get in and out all in the same shot.. I've pulled in with gate locked a time or two and got in a 10.. but it's rare.. oh and that was Los Angeles. . Excuse me.. There's pull outs on the 580.. and construction

For me the 2 hrs of split sleeper worked pretty good if I showed up a bit early (1 hr or so), and if everything worked out, then a couple hours dead head, reload and just enough time to get away from civilization to do the 8 hrs. That split sleeper seems like it gives me more options.

The Walmart on Hesperian blvd should work. It's right at 238/880.

There are a few places down in redwood city near the cement plant it's been years since I've had to use them but if you have some time you can scout it out.

In the N. Bay, there's a couple of spots in Benicia off 680, Vallejo rest area on I80 (west bound only), several spots in Napa.
