Can't help, but I remember the old Texaco Terminal truckstop at Suisun City (Fairfield),Ca. right by the I-80 scales.Shame it's gone, was a nice clean place, lots of parking, was one of the nicer truckstops in California.Plus you could go in the back corner, and look through the bushes and see if the scales were closed before you left.
There also used to be another truckstop in San Leandro, forget it's name, was right off of Ca 17 (880).Was a real dump though, horrible parking lot,but you could usually find a place to roost.Guess it's long gone, too.

Trucks aren't welcome in the bay area, don't you know that?

Check out the Ceva terminal in Hayward. Mainly a commercial area. You should be able to find a spot on one of those side streets.

Is where I always park and/or drop my trailer for 24hrs when I'm in the bay. I've been doing this for 2 years and I have never gotten a ticket or tow. This applies to the entire immediate area right there.

You will know it when you see it. There are trucks and dropped trailers everywhere. There is a trucking company right there and they are 24/7. They assured me it was "ok".

There are also some homeless guys that have tents set up in eye shot of these spots and I usually pay a guy name Reggie five or ten bucks and some cigarettes to look out for my trailer while I'm gone.

I give him my cell and leave a note with my cell on the trailer before I leave and so far so good.

    Try it.

31100 Weigman Rd. In Hayward is a nice quiet industrial area.. There is a EMJ metals building right there and they are there 24/7 so no one comes around messing with anything. There is a target and some food just down the street that would be safe and close to walk to. It's off of 880 and whipple road.

The liberals in the bay area don't like trucks or truckers. But they want stuff to be in the stores when they spend there cash. When im up there I look at google maps near the shipper and then scope out a place to park.

Costco in San Leandro off 880/Davis St. (I believe) double check location since I'm going from memory.

That entire street has no parking signs but the moving company down the street parks there and drops trailers so it shouldnt be an issue
