i know i see a few parked in residential areas here which is supposedly against city ordinance but i only see them on the weekend when the 'city' is closed and therefore their people arent out to enforce that. always just the tractor, no trailer.
other than that there's a closed target thats across from a Kmart and Walmart that i see trucks at often.
