Where can I sell my tires. I replaced my tires at the house so I could keep them. Now I'm looking for a place that would buy them off of me. For me they are only good for recapping, 0-5 /32. Someone that gets every penny out of them might take the 5/32 but I'm not counting on it.

Thats to cover the state imposed scrap tire fee that they have to pay.. cheaper than trying to get rid of them on your own IMHO.

How will is it cheaper to give them a tire and pay them $10 vs selling them for $75 or more. I just need to know where to go.

I advertised my old steers on here and Craigslist.
Had a few hits from both sources and ended up selling them to a guy that just drove by and saw them! $150 IIRC.
If they are useable, then try to sell them if you have the room to store them for a while.

When you get some sucker to pay you $75 for a tire with no usable tread life on them (0 - 5/32) they are going to be there longer and take more screwing around than they are worth.. if you could have gotten a core charge from the tire dealer the problem would have been solved.. done and over.

Well if some sucker is a company that makes recaps. Then I guess they are not the sucker.
I don't know why anyone would keep suggesting a core charge. When I specifically said they won't do it. I have the storage space so no problem there. Just looking for a place that would buy them.
No the dealer where I got the new ones will not pay me for them.

Some stuff isn't worth what you hoped it would be! Worn out tires come to mind.

Dont keep them to long the casting wont be any good if they all match i would check on re-caping them yourself and sale them to someone else i have a shop by me that does them for $189 a tire the thing is most people need tires to keep running so they cant wait weeks getting theres done i dont see why you couldnt get $250 a tire recapped just one more way to look at it
