The only company in the area I have my foot in the door at is a local towing company. The owner is a family friend and what not, you know the jist.

I could land a job with them no problem. There are other companies around here I have talked to that desperately need drivers, and it's all regional stuff.

I doubt I'll have any trouble finding some sort of a job, and I'm willing to start out the bottom and work my way up.

Owner Operators think buying a truck is expensive, haha, try funding a recording studio and keeping it up to date. If you don't do that, prepare to work for someone else having them charge you a rental fee. I charged $40 an hour, after rental fees, I was down to about $15 an hour. Sometimes less when I was struggling for money and started cutting deals just to make it by. Save up money, open my own place, continue chargin $40 an hour, make the career out of it I always wanted. Drive a truck to get there.

If yous can get a decent wage with the towing company, I would say go for it....After I shut down my one truck car haul company, I sent a couple of weeks driving for another car haul company,....when I figured out what the hourly wage was and it came to $7.23 an hour,...It didn't take long to get gone from there....

    I hear that.

My goal this round is to lower all my expenses. 4-wheeler is paid off, ditched my apartment, put all of my stuff in storage, and sadly, living with the folks again..

Hopefully this time I won't be worried about bills bills bills and can save up a little bit before I jump back into the real world again.
