Lmao. Reminds me of bj and the bear or something. Videos like that will scare off anyone that's been in trucking a long time

Don't forget to top it off wearing loads of fake gold jewelery and a story about how you just drive for a hobby, because you're very wealthy.

I can tell just by watching the video. I liked the scene where all those drivers were walking together shoulder to shoulder. Reminded me of an old western movie. Makes me want to quit my job and fill out an online app then fly to wherever and start in the morning.

Since you are not going to do this for about a year then you can go to a truckstop and get a couple of the little books that they have for drivers to look at when bored and go thru them and call different companies and ask questions. Have you a list of particular questions and concerns that you will ask them and cross the ones off that do not fit you then the ones that you think you can deal with go thru that list and see which one has better perks than others and go from there. That way you can get the info on the companies and when you do decide to do it you will have made a decision. Hope this helps.

It took a lifetime to get what I have. If you get a truck that has A/C & Heat, your lucky. There not Safety Items. :biggrin_255: I find it takes about $45,000.00 a year to drive one of these things. $ 190,000.00 in revenue. Werner, JB, Swift, ect knows this. You lead, or you follow. If you are smart, you get out of it. Play it 6 years, then get your own truck, learn. It's not easy, but it's worth it.

I have a question. Do you have to stay at truck stops? Are there other options? What if no parking is available? Can I find a campground that has space for RV's and stay there? You have to pay to stay at a truck stop anyways don't you? Would a tractor trailer fit in an RV campground space or is it too big?
