Check out Panther Expedite . No experience necessary in a straight truck and they don't put you with a trainer . Most of the trucks are automatic . You could possibly start as an O/O with your own cargo van but rates for them aren't that great and there is a surplus of vans in the industry .
With expedite you don't run regular routes so you will see a lot of the country .

Not totally correct....they do NOT have company trucks but they do have owner operators that may hire you to drive for them.....but may is an excellent opportunity

I am wondering how u can get trained if you don't have a trainer team driving with you during training? A y where are you good luck , i drove for about 15 years and then got out of driving, i am recently thinking of getting back i a truck but reading these forums is giving me second thoughts... Any wY good luck and Albion is my favorite place to go to the ocean for scuba diving. Was there last sunday and caught a bunch of lings.

I guess i misunderstand how the training works then.

Real driver training is to have the driver trainer awake and 2nd seating while the trainee 1st seats. Most companies have the trainer and trainee team drive which isn't as good.
