okay this is what I have to offer and I'm hopeing to get some good advice! I graduated from a trucking school in 2008 but havent drove any tractor trailers since school. I immediately went to driving a straight truck doing roll off dumpsters now I want to go OTR but not sure which company to go with. I've talked with one company (refrigerated) that want me to surrender my license to the home state of there office and get that states license which mean taking all the test over again ain't go happen. I tried England but well so i dont talk bad about the i'll just say that it didnt work. I hate that it didnt work because they put me through something called a refreshers couse. Can ANYBODY tell me of some companies that I should try? I want to do flat bed and eventually haul over sized loads. I'm about 10 minutes outside of New Orleans and the date I plan on leaving is January 15th got a new baby that should be here on the 9th Lord say the same. Thanks

No matter which company you choose you are going to have to do a refresher course,it's required by the insurance cos.Once you graduate with the CDL the clock is ticking as it has a shelf life of a few months. You screwed yourself by not going OTR right out of school.A few names are Cypress,TMC,Maverick,Melton, lonestar and Swift has a flatbed division.
