Ok, Many of you know me from here, I have met a few of you in person, I was released of my duties at Conway Truckload on Thursday June 9th, I was told I was not following company policy, I was NEVER
told which company p[olicy I was not following but that their decision was final, I asked if there was not a probation I could be placed on or something like that and they said, "No that they took their finding to a driver "Board of Review" and the decision was unamious that they release me of my duties.
So with that said, I have 8 months of driving experience I have driven for Prime and went with 2 trainers and decided it was not for me, I then went with Watkins and Shepard in their Dry Van division and Conway Truckload also in their Dry Van division. I don't need any abuse or wise cracks about this being my 3rd job in a short period of time, I am asking my fellow drivers where should I go? If you work for a good company let me know of them, I am open to changing my type of class I am driving in for example going from Dry Van to Reefer or whatever if they will take my short experience. I live in the Phoenix Arizona area.
Thank You in advance for the information that you provide, Let us keep this thread on task if you don't mind. Thank You.

Just from what you have said about your experiences with the companies you have been with, most of them big ones, why not target a smaller outfit that is more personable. Not sure that will work any better, but I have found over the last 3 decades that the smaller outfits (100-300 trucks) seem to be a better experience.
Just a thought.RAGE 18, truckerdaddy24, xllxmrjohnxllx and 2 others Thank this. -
Ok check it out...i managed a construction division prior to trucking theres laws with that protect a worker the way that conway fired u is unlawful because they didnt specify wich policy u broke unless u didnt know because you didnt take the time to read thru the comp policy handbook. You can contact the labor dep. in Phoenix and take your case to them you could probably get your job back in a different division. You really need to find out why you were fired or your next potential employer will and that will not look good for you because Con way has the upper hand because they could in fact assasinate your integrity and ruin your reputation. As far as your job jumping your only hurting yourself.I know for sure Saia is hiring.I hope you find a job soon man good luck.peace

See whats on your DOT report. If you weren't fired from WS go back there or try Gordon GTI.

I appreciate you guys keeping my thread at the top of the board. Even if you are trying to kick a guy when he is down, I'm more then that and not going to let it effect me.
Thanks. TD24
