I worked at Maverick with the following attitude: "They use me, I use them". Learned a LOT, worked hard, was fairly compensated and moved on. I highly recommend them. About the only downside to them is the all auto fleet.

I agree, about the shifting experience, nevertheless, they are a great company. I've also heard good things from drivers for Jordan and PGT.

No way on Simbeck! Their trucks are garbage and company in general.
Would not recommend them at all...
I may be in the market for a good service oriented driver to run a dedicated route from Elkhart,IN , looping the east cost weekly if he'd be interested.

2300-2800 mi a week, new 780 Volvo condo , pay $1200wk plus benefits. -
I thought Bowman was pretty thorough in their training. Plus, they have a Frederick term which is probably 45 min from Laurel. I know they take new drivers 'cause they took me. Doesn't pay great but most of the equip is newer and they are transitioning to an all-automatic fleet.
