Where will Californians go after the big one?

Most likely no where. Your talking less than 1% of the state population. Cali could loose that many from any descent sized town.... and not even really notice the difference other than a slightly busier Visa office. Not many people left that were rocked by Loma Prieta. LA metro has had a couple significant events recently and the population continues to grow.

 

So would you all willingly assist the folks trying to become the state of Jefferson?

I grew up in the South SF Bay Area, Was always amazed at how many nature children moved to Coastal Oregon and messed that area up politically big time. I'm hoping I am just far enough away from Seattle and Portland to avoid the worst of the pending stupid..........

 

Watching wild wild country on Netflix right now....oregon has had more than it's fair share of Looney characters taking up residence and disrupting things...

 

Oregon is actually 2 states. West & East. I'll leave it at that.

 

Moving to Oregon won't help Californians avoid earthquakes. The PNW is overdue for a "Big One" itself.
It's just a matter of time.
