This discussion is for Loves Truck Stops only. Loves is my favorite place to fuel and get showers. They are building an incredible amount of stores all over the country and the new ones are absolutely top of the line in quality. Some of the Loves are even building stops with the big parking lots, similar to the TA's or Petro's.

So my question for my fellow drivers is, what places would you like to see some new Loves Truck Stops be built?

For this thread, I think we don't need to include anywhere north of PA, as the answer to where would you like to see some new Loves Truck Stops be built more north past PA is "everywhere", lol.

Here is my list and keep in mind when I say "area", I mean within 15-20 minutes of the city/town that I list

    1. Greenville, SC area
    2. Asheville, NC area (wishful thinking)
    3. St. Cloud, MN area or at least somewhere in between Fargo and Minneapolis on I-94
    4. Mankato, MN area
    5. Eau Claire, WI - Yeah they have the one in Menomonie, but I think the city of Eau Claire could EASILY support another Love's there

What's your list? Where would you like to see some new Loves be built?

ALSO ON A SIDE NOTE - WE ARE GETTING A NEW LOVES IN ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING!!! I drove by there within the last month it's looking like it should be ready to go around the start of 2021!

In Delaware along US 13 anywhere from Dover south to Salisbury, Md. I also agree with the op about anywhere in New England.

I thought about it, but where they would be really needed, they would be full by solar powered drivers by 1400. So no point.

If they did we would lose valuable parking spaces. They are also a lot cleaner than any Pilot anywhere. At least they are a family business that is investing in our economy. We need loves so if you do not oike them just keep going to the Pilot.

MN is a problem, only 1 near Albert Lea, and other outlets are more competitive. Kwik Trip and others.

Im assuming you haven’t been doing this for long, if so you would realize that older Loves are just as bad as any Pilot in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. They’re just masking it by having more newer locations currently. But Loves does top the chart in one thing; the number of locations that are a total cluster regardless of time of day. Sure the parking here and there is helpful but they’re never big enough to really help the problem. They buy a 100 acre parcel, only build on maybe half that then plop for sale signs on the rest for years to come
