Where would you like to see new LOVE'S be built?

Loves is no worse than TA/Petro or Pilot/Flying J. The fuel pumps are always blocked by inconsiderate drivers, every stop is overpriced and most of their parking is smaller than the others but free. Everyone has their favorites and the ones that

 

And the ones that they prefer. A lot of Mom and Pop truck stops are less crowded and usually a better choice. Better trip planning is a better way to try and find places to stop that aren't as crowded.

The old days of paper logs and non- computer controlled trucks were less stressful and simpler to find parking and good places to eat and the parking was always free and plentiful.

 

I get fuel discounts at TA/Petro with TCS but other than that I try to avoid any of the big chain stops for overnight parking. I purposely go for the off brand/independent joints most of the fleet drivers don’t bother with. And if it’s $20 minimum or pay I REALLY know I’ve found the right place!

 

I saw today they’re building a Loves in Jackpot NV. That will be a nice addition to the stretch between Twin Falls and Wells.

 

What a great location. Next to the casino???

Will the casino be downwind to receive that EVERY TRUCK STOP produced pleasantly offending winds of change??

 

The whole town of Jackpot is walking distance. Lol. I can’t recall if it was in the vacant space between the casino and houses or in the vacant space south of the houses. Either way it’s close, it’s right in town.
