There are so many areas that need truck stops and parking but a big problem is the locals that are opposed to any trucks in their neighborhood. If these "not in my backyard" people did not have trucks of any size make deliveries to their neighborhood and they had to drive to the next town for everything would they feel different?
New Love's in Baker City, Oregon. Looked like a decent size, I saw it a month or two ago and they were almost finished with it. Will be much needed in the area, especially come winter time. Also, new Love's north of Winston Salem right after/before the new outer loop (depending on which direction you're going). Much needed in the area, it's pretty big I would estimate about 100 legal parking spots but I noticed a lot of them aren't on flat pavement, which sucks because they easily could have made the whole parking lot completely flat if they had spent just a few extra dollars to do so. Weird thing about that particular Love's north of Winston Salem though, is all the parking spaces are numbered in the yellow paint (same yellow paint used to make the parking space lines)? Don't know what that's all about.
I have read online that Loves is considering a reserved parking scenario at it's locations. Maybe this is going to be a first trial. Say it isn't so please.
The numbered spots have been addressed before. Loves knows we have food/groceries delivered, the numbers are partially for that purpose. I also see Loves is cracking down on people leaving trucks there unattended, I have heard they are also using the spot numbers to track what trucks are where and for how long.
Nowhere. Whomever designs their lots should be… fill in the blank and what is their obsession with Hardee’s?! Sorry but I need food not grease and their hamburger meat must be from China or is loaded with mRNA spike protein. Are they doing that yet? I think so. You can taste it. Or something in it to discourage eating it. Cows after all are “destroying the planet.” But hey if people like it? God bless. If I do park at one door dash brings me my food.
