WHAT beach?!?!? It's storming to beat the band here in Ohio; we have 3 more days of this.

 

Guess I'm glad I worked the last two weekends; this is gonna hurt me, as well. No need to move asphalt if the pavers haven't used what I've already brought. Dang.

 

Went down to Pensacola with family for few days. Dispatch was telling me on Friday how busy they are going be this week as I was doing a preload for them since they had no local drivers to do it ( barely made it with bs traffic on I 75). Guess they are gonna miss me but it's really hard to care right now

 

I hear ya, man. North Florida is where it's at. Wife's from the Gulf area; too hot and humid. Enjoy; I'm sure you've earned it, ya know?!?

 

Welp, I got my final load up to Lima early this morning. Was in and out within 1:45 hours and started heading back toward cincy. Dispatcher had a preloaded trailer in Louisville so I went down there and hooked it and brought it back to the yard in Cincy. I still needed to return rental car and check out of hotel but I had plenty of time to get the load to NY and then home for a well deserved week off. ONLY not, got a call just as I was rolling into the yard....customer wants the Lima loads to continue into next week instead of ending today. So, back to the grind!

 

Your product isn't affected by these heavy rains we are having in Ohio, you are fortunate. Be careful out there; some people can drive in snow (or think they can, think 4wheelers) and can't even drive in RAIN~!

 

Oh I got SLAMMED this morning around Springboro, it was just a light sprinkle and then instantly like someone was shooting a firehose at my windshield. It was still dark out so I couldn't even see the rain line.

 

I was out there nearby, as well. Now they're calling for hail tonight.. great! Be safe, man. I got hosed, too.
