Ok so I was just looking at my gross pay so far for the year, I'm guessing it's alittle low because I just started getting payed really well at the beginning of July cause that's when my 4 cpm raise kicked in. But anyways as of today I've grossed 37,333.41 now this does include 200 bucks a month for tuition and 1,000 I got for a bonus. Is my total gross good, ok, or bad (way under) what it should be at being at the end of July? So I've only got 5 months left in the work year. I'm thinking my gross it a lot shorter than everyone's else's but I've worked bout as hard as I could stand most months so it is what it is. Next full year will be a lot higher I think anyways. After doing some figuring if I stay on track I should be at 64k for the year gross, not great but I'm only in my second year of driving so I can't complain really

My last full year as a company driver with superior was 2015 and I had grossed $40,031.21 for this pay period. If you stay running as you are you should gross 60+ for the year which for a Schneider driver has to put you in the top 5%.
At SNBC for 2014 I was at $24,412 for this pay period
and for 2013 I was at $14,399 (I started driving Feb of that year).

Also I wouldn't get a raptor, I just can't justify buying a 70k pickup truck...What I would get is a nicely optioned Land Rover Discovery.

For a new truck? Man, thats hard! I think Texas has a state requirement thay every 5th fella has to have a Raptor. I love the look of them, but can't stomach the price.
The New F150s are just fantastic! I'd love to have an fx4 2door in blue of white, with the black trim.
I've lost all faith in Dodge. My new Ram was in the shop so much thay when I traded it in 9 months after I bought it , it only had 5000 miles on it.
I think their 2 door 1500 sport package is sex on wheels, but I'm jaded.
Whatever your choice, Id stick with Ford.

Oh yeah, I got to check out one of those land rovers not long ago, it looked pretty awesome, I couldn't get in it was just looking thru the windows but it was nice. I definitely gotta get a truck, I want the bed, I have a Nissan Altima 2014 that I payed off and will use it as my drive everywhere vehicle but my truck will only be used very lightly as far as putting miles on it. I'm not rushing to buy 1 though. I want to see what the second part of 2018 vehicles (changes) we will see. With my trucks I always lift them enough for 35 in tires. So that's part of the reason I like the raptor so far, I don't have to do anything to it. But a f150 king ranch with a small 4in lift and some 35s with the stock king ranch wheels would look awesome as well and not cost that much to modify either. It's a hard decision I will have to make

On my way to pick up dirty fuel in Wichita to take down to humble, TX.

Both customers are kinda a PITA, but they're both nice.

Spent the past couple days running from Cheyenne, up to Dickinson and back and Realized that I need to get out of the city and live in the country, in a small town. I have zero idea what I would do for work, maybe just drive for 7 months and take 5 months off. It's just me, so I dont need much. I miss being able to be in the mountains everyday and to camp and hike with a dog.

Been in the truck almost 3 months straight, chasing that money. Been putting on weight , when I should be losing it because my med card is up in September. Really struggling to find goals. I'll be 45 this year and for some reason that's really scaring me. Most of my friends have forgotten me in the 4 years I've been back OTR. I get back home and try to visit with people and no one is interested when I'm there, but then when I leave ," why didn't you come visit?"

I'd love to have a small farm and raise animals before I get too old to do it by myself, but I have no idea how I would support myself. All the farmers I know inherited their farms as they were passed down. I can't live in the flatlands. I need mountains. Maybe I'll just camp out on a farmers ploy until he starts shooting at me and then move to the next one lol.

It's weird. I people watch alot and Realized last night that life is like a fictional tv show in a different language for me. I can get the gist of what I see and hear about strangers lives, but it's like a foreign language that I only have a small understanding of. I wish it would make sense to me.

Christ, I've been on the road too long....

The last time this happened, I took 4 days off in Portland and rented a car, then proceeded to drive it through the weigh station on I5 heading up into Washington.
    Unimpressed Trooper was unimpressed. Lol

Wish I had though to take a pic of him standing up with his hands on his hips, shaking his head lol

Schneider has made some pretty good changes lately, they are trying it seems now to keep guys. Pretty much everybody that is considered experienced drivers pulling tanks are making between 50-55 cpm for all miles. I was having to work myself hard as heck for a 1600 pay week but since the pay raises the beginning of the month I'm taking it fairly easy and hitting 1600's. I did a 1k miles out loaded the other day and 1k back empty, it was the easiest 1100 bucks ever. Then had 3 more days to run. Turned into a 1953 pay check. I love the empty pay being same as loaded here. But I hate the layover pay and breakdown pay. It is the lowest by far of any company anywhere. They need to fix this
