Where's u tankers loading at this morning

#### conversation went from pickup truck to audi, land rover,maseratti lol. I got 2008 E class Mercedes, great car but eats gas like crazy.

 

You guys have lots of money. I'll be content with my lil 16 ram 1500

 

I would buy a couple of year old or ten year old vehicle. Too much depreciation involved. Plus I'm in a truck for weeks on end and not my car. I understand buying new, I have done that.

 

Depends what you buy. Some brands depreciate more than others. Ford and Chevy, cars have horribe depreciation. If you go with hig hend car makers you can get your money if you end up trading or selling

 

Out of all our vehicles, the Jeep is the only one that hasn't depreciated much, if at all. I'd buy one again, for sure.

 

Honda and Toyota don't. But I don't have much interests in buying them to start. I only want a 10+ year caddie at some point. Cost me 4 to 5k and I get full leather seats. I don't drive more than 10k miles a year any way. One year I did 3500 miles.

Speaking of depreciation, my area is loaded with Toyota fanbois. A 6 year old Tacoma with 100k? Dame price as one with 20k. 2005 with 178k on her? They still want 20k for her. Just rediculous

 

I want the G class Mercedes but they are crazy expensive. Just saw 2005 model 100k miles for 34 k. Brand new ones go for 130 k
