You are allowed one mistake with this chemical. The second mistake, they put you in a box!

 

I've actually heard the FIRST could be fatal. I'll stick with my asphalt; worse I get is peeling skin when it slips in the gloves and won't come off my skin before it sets up.

I have used it in an ethanol plant, where I was an operator. We had saftey give us a presentation. Pulmunary edima. Scary crap.

I was pissed a few weeks ago when a couple drop of caustic got on my Red wing boots and burned some holes in them, not all the way thru but screwed up my boots

 

I keep an eye on the wind direction. And my running boots on.

 

300F..... I've hauled a few specialty loads that were 500F
