Loading in Hammond In. The lake is really spitting out the snow here.

I got a nice reprieve last night. I was suppose to deliver this morning, but the snow storm in Canada held up my next tank, so I had a chance to go home. One last run and I'm off through the weekend. (Wife and I are leaving kids with grandparents and we're headed to a B&B to celebrate 15 years.)77fib77 and slim shady Thank this. -
Doing a 34 in some town 30 miles south of Tulsa, that I cant even say, let alone spell. Going to running vampire hours tonight to run down to Shreveport to load at 6am Wednesday morning at 6am, going to midland TX.

Ya.....u heard it was bad. My Canadian driver said it was worse in IN then it was in Canada. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with it. LOLslim shady Thanks this.

Met a guy at a mill was delivering some hazmat liquid (as was I) last year. He was saying there were mine runs (hazmat tanker) in Arizona that paid well. Had no reason to doubt him.scythe08 Thanks this.

I delivered a load of snot to a gold mine in Nevada my first year of trucking. That was a good run. Greensboro NC to Carlin Nevada. Lots of coal mines along I-64 in Indiana as well. An O/O once told me they pay decent. I never liked them too much. Dirty places that can be an adventure just finding out where you need to be.scythe08 Thanks this.
