Waccamaw out of Radford might have an opening if you want to be home more. They don't pay as well as your OTR gig, but you'll sleep in your own bed every night/day, depending on your schedule. The pay was ok for local work when I was talking to one of their guys.

So this chemical I'm hauling is a category 4 under all hazards but it's not placarded.. the 2 guys loaded me looked like they were going scuba diving wearing so much gear. I showed them my breathing apparatus and they said good luck. Wtf does that mean
ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
What does the Bol and the SDS say about the product?

Is it listed as hazmat on the bills? Does the msds say anything about special breathing aparatus needed. Be careful.

this reminds me of a customer i delivered to in jersey, that wanted to air off a flammable load with compressed air! i said you can't do that, but in broken english he said the shipper made a mistake by placarding there product.i called my tm and told him what was up, he said get him to sign you bill, drop trailer and park around the corner of the building out of harms way. so i did, nothing blew up, but i still didn't like how it went down......
ChicagoJohn, 19d and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
is it illegal to vent your tank after unloading an hazardous product into the atmosphere?
