Loading out of nowhere at present still waiting for all the rain to go away some of the farmers really needed it, our company would have purely selfish reasons for wanting it to stay dry as its good for business we were turning over around $200,000 per week during the dry period. Some places got around 400 mm in the last 10 days which is the highest recorded rainfall in 50 years for October.

My boss up in Jersey keeps telling me how much we make moving this stuff. But only if the weather is bad.

My bossman tried to get a similar contract for the winter, but it fell through. Y'all are being greedy, LoL! ;) Just kidding, you have fun with that! (Then again, it beats hauling precast. :( )

A contract like that wouldn't keep you busy full time anyways, unless we have a north pole type of winter.
O'Hare is huge and they go thru that stuff in no time at all,

    Orange713 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

This is true. I'd be hard pressed to get to CLE, CMH, and CAK under 16 hours; none of which are really a 'hub' .... O'Hare is 'fun' ... I'll give you that~! ;)

A company i've been talking to also runs de-icer. I can't think of anything else i'd rather do then sit in traffic during a blizzard trying to get to O'hare.:eek::eek::eek:

If you load it out of IMTT Lemont and get there by 4am you can easily do 2. Starting at that time put you ahead of the morning rush.
The O/O here loved doing those loads, they paid very well. And as many as we would do the O/O would get these loads often because we're usually very busy.
Winter has always been busy for us

ChicagoJohn, 77fib77 and Orange713 Thank this.
