Where's u tankers loading at this morning

Still hauling S N O T ? does it slow up like that, or cause you to sit often?

 

Yeah, these snot loads are our bread and butter down here. But they can be inconsistent and we have more drivers than work right now. Our other accounts have trickled down, but we need to keep trucks down here, because if we route them out, it's takes a week to get back. We're supposed to be ramping up in jan or Feb, doing 3 loads a week until after or October. So $1500 a week, never having to touch a hose. But I honestly don't think it's going to play like that. With the runs the receiver says they want vs what the batch plant in Shreveport can produce consistently can be 2 very different things. Then add that my company still wants more drivers down here, but wont increase our trailer pool, nor commit to a terminal, with a mechanic. Its going to make it hard to keep trucks running.

 

Dang, man. If only the 'company' guys had to do what WE do for a few weeks minimum, they'd get a better idea of things. That's why I'm blessed that my boss is a part of the fleet I run for.

Still good money, man, especially for not having to hang and bang hoses~! Hang in there, see how it plays out. All we can do!!

 

After 2 weeks at home, FINALLY hooked a load. Just from Champaign, IL to Reynolds, IN, but it beats what I’ve been doing !

 

Which was........????? Relaxing, eating, and sleeping is a COMMODITY for me lately~!

 

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but 2 weeks was a little too long....
